Hull - Hull is designed on a transverse system of framing, with frames spaced two feet apart. The hull is divided into six watertight buoyancy tanks by five transverse bulkheads. Plating size follows: bottom 1/4", deck - 5/16", turn of the bilge 5/16", side - 1/4", bulkheads - 3/16". Rake ends, bow and stern, are reinforced to permit craft to be towed at sea.
