Designed by famed America's Cup designers Sparkman and Stephens Yachts and limited to 1000 produced, this is a sporty, high-quality 1980's racing boat made by Howmar Boats, NJ.
Purchased used in 1995 and much enjoyed on lakes while camping in western MA. It has a quick, responsive helm, is stable even in high wind, is self-bailing and has well-positioned hiking straps for skipper and crew. Main and jib sails are in good shape. I do not have a spinnaker or spinnaker rigging.
Trailer with MA title is included. Lights work.
This boat is the example used for the "You Can Sail" book by John Whiting... see photos... I only found wind like that on the book's cover once and the experience was exhilarating!!
