Things it still needs:- Cuddy cabin needs upholstery done and gorilla hair on the roof and sides. The cuddy is fairly small I got quoted $700 for the entire cabin, I just haven't done it because it's not of upmost importance to me.- Trailer needs a second row of bunks added to help guide the boat on the trailer better. I was quoted $500 parts and labor.- Boat is losing fuel pressure at the fuel pumps. My plan was to replace both fuel pumps on each motor. Parts where $400 and I was going to do the work myself it's pretty simple an estimated 2 hours per motor as you have to take one fuel pump off to access the other.- One of the cowls has a hole on the top side now where a tree branch went through it. It does NOT allow water to access the motor no leaks into the motor area. The motors stay dry. This is a cosmetic issue and you can get a new cowl for $200-500.- It needs some gelcoat repair where it was hitting the roller. I suggest adding the second row of bunks before repairing the gelcoat. I was quoted $200 to fix the gelcoat locally in St. Augustine.- It needs two temperature gauges - and a new sending unit (we installed a new sending unit but apparently it was cheap and broke. A top of the line sending unit (for fuel gauge runs about $100)
The boat is water ready minus the fuel pumps. Once you fix the fuel pumps you can take it out on the water. I can start the motors and hookup a pressure gauge to show how the fuel pump is losing power.
