1997 Sea Ray 240 Sundancer
Freshwater boat (never used in saltwater), originally kept on Lake Wallenpaupack, then on Lake Hopatcong, currently on its trailer.
This is a low hours (430), properly maintained freshwater used boat, in great condition for its age, with everything you need included for boating today. It is water ready, and even includes all of the safety items and toys such as skis, tubes etc.
The previous owner is a close friend, and the original owner was a retired couple who used it as a weekend retreat destination.
It’s a wonderful boat and is only being sold because we have moved from the lake.
At $10,000 it is priced thousands of dollars below its retail value for a no nonsense quick sale to pay off the remaining loan. The trailer and all listed accessories are included.
The boat and trailer are currently located in Belvidere, NJ.
Once you have seen the boat and or put down a non refundable deposit I will pay off the loan and get the title from my bank, which should only take 48-72 hours.
Upon receipt of the clear title I will contact you and trailer it to Johnny’s Marina on Lake Hopatcong, in Hopatcong, NJ to complete the sale. Balance to be paid in cash.

*Notes:
This boat is water ready (currently winterized but winter shrink wrap is off so it can be seen), has all required coast guard items for freshwater use, and includes many extras. It is being sold “as isâ€, with no warranty expressed or implied.
The only things that are known to be wrong with the boat are the following:
1. The “drinking water†pump has a hairline crack at the hose connection, so it works but has minor leak into bildge if used. This is only for flowing water in the sink and stern shower. This is not required for boat operation. Cost to replace, if you wanted to use it is apx $250.
2. The water-depth indicator was not reading on the gauge at the end of our last outing. This may or may or may not be functioning, but is not required for boat operation. A stand alone unit can be purchased for apx $350 if the factory embedded unit is non functional, but is not required to operate the boat.
3. The swim deck ladder is banded to preserve its guide rail. It functions but is reduced in total extension.
Please ask if you have any questions.
