Description

I have a 1975 Luhrs 280 for sale! I bought it from the original owners family.
I also have the original bill of sale when the boat was special ordered in 1975.
The boat is solid as a rock!!! a 340ci Chrysler Marine V-8 that is fresh water cooled, runs great! It was rebuilt in 1996. Very low hours on the rebuild! All of the seats and cushions are in new condition after being redone! The boats cabin has electric head, sink, fridge and microwave. The boat needs the topside above the gunnel painted due to the fact that it has been waxed and buffed so often sense it was new! The boat boat just needs some TLC and your personal touch!Selling only due to my health. See my feed back!A clear Ohio title is avalible for the boat! Trailer sold with a bill of sale only. Ohio doesn't require titles for trailers.
I have replaced the out dated carburator with a brand new one. Motor runs great. Just needs some TLC and cleaning! There are no major mechanical issues that I can see! This boat will give you lots of enjoyment for years to come! They are one of the best built boats made! That is why they are still in service today!

I am including a tri-axle trailer with 6 new tires and rims, new bearings and seals. I also installed brand new electric brake systems to two of the axles!The trailer alone is worth $3000.00! I just put over $800.00 dollars worth of tires and rims on it! Plus new bearings and seals, bearing buddies, new Dexter electric brakes on two axles! There is over $1000.00 that I put into the trailer to ensure that it is safe to pull down the road! I hauled a 28' Carver Mariner on this trailer from upper Michigan and it pulled great!I built adjustable bunks and pads into the trailer for fast adjustments for different types of boats!
