SV Submit is a 1969 Cal Cruising 36 sloop, federally documented.

SV Submit repairs and improvements since we purchased her in February, 2008. Labor not included in totals:

Repaint hull and deck.

Installed a new Beta Marine 38 hp diesel engine with second high output alternator dedicated to house battery system. $10,979. Engine has two alternators, one for house batteries and one for start battery. Dual battery switch allows for both battery banks to be charged by either alternator in case one alternator dies.

Upgraded from a Borg Warner 71c transmission to a rebuilt 72c heavier duty transmission. $1500

Replaced the Walter V-drive with a new one. $1500

Replace deteriorated teak toe rail with heavy duty aluminum toe rail through bolted with 3/8” bolts every 5 inches stem to stern. Also resealed hull deck joint area.

Installed new Air Silent X wind generator, January 2019. $1429

Sparman USA installed all new and upgraded standing rigging. $2306.92

Installed new Standard Horizon 2200 AIS/VHF/GPS radio with separate new Shakespear antenna in cockpit. Antenna $137.81. Antenna mount $44 Radio $320

Replaced all lifeline stanchions with new heavier duty Garhauer stanchions plus backing plates, including adding gate stanchions. $540

Replaced old lifelines with new larger diameter all stainless steel cable lifelines and added pelican hooks to upper and lower lifelines in gate areas on both sides of cockpit. $800.36

Added new Sprint 1000 anchor windless with wireless remote control. $1100
