I am the second owner of this boat.The Telstar 28s are famous for there mast raising system.Check YouTube for video of mast raising.This is indeed a one person mast raising system, lowering the mast is just as easy, takes about 5 minutes to raise or lower.I have original bill of sale, This was a $90,000 boat, new.Includes fantastic dual axle, galvanized trailer with 1 year old tires, rims and bearings.Sails, Laminate Main 239 sqft, Genoa 242 sqft on roller reefing and I believe it is a Asymmetrical Spinnaker 780sqft.Motor is a Honda 20hp, electric start, tilt trim with remote controls. New impeller this spring.Runs and starts great, no problems.Draft is 1ft board up 4ft 6in down.Kickup rudder and centerboard, Rudder is also hooked to motor for close quarter steering.Boat has a beam of 8' 6" folded trailerable and 18' extended. Folding is very easy, just push on amas and they just extend.Same for retracting, just push on outer edge and they just slide in.Great tramps. Screens for both hatches.Sleeps 4 close quarters, realistic 2 adults and a couple of kids or 3 adults.Marine head with sink. Fresh water tank, has only been filled once and head has not been used.5' 7" to 6'1" headroom throughout the cabin.
