Description
The International Folkboat is one of the most beautiful and seaworthy boats you can find. Designed in 1942 and modified for fiberglass construction on 1967, the Folkboat has been sailed across the Atlantic and around the world many times. It is easy to sail in heavy winds, and will go nicely in light winds. Pixie was built in 1972, was fitted for racing at some point, was based in Gloucester, MA for many years and moved to the Chesapeake in 2001. She has a mainsail, genoa jib, working jib and spinnaker; inflatable dinghy, dodger, 4 berths.
