I am the auction agent for a high end City of New York Marinalocated in the 5 boroughs of NYC. Each year I am asked to auction offthe boats that are abandoned by their owners in the marina. The boat is being sold AS IS AND WHERE IS AND ISNOTSUBJECT TO INSPECTION. It is being sold withoutwarrantyor guarantee including that for fitness for use.All sales are final and are not subject to cancellation or return. The marinadoes not believe that this boat ever wentunderwater or has any structural damage.This boat was abandoned by her owner in the marina and themarina would like to have it removed. The buyer has until OCTOBER 1 to remove the boatafter the auction. If the owner wants to keep her at the marina for the winter, aSpecial EBAY winter rate from October 1, 2016 to April 15, 2017Will be offered at the flat rate amount of $400. This is a one time winter rate for the auction winner. 1978 COLUMBIA T26 Sloop (could be a year or so either way as year on transom is worn)
The T26 was built to be a TRAILERABLE 26 foot sailboat.
The port side spreader is loose but does not appear to be damaged.The hull and deck appear quite good and she should make for a nice daysailer that can be trailered.
Boat features: Yamaha 9.9 4 stroke outboard, stainless hardware, two primary winches, boom and mast, some running rigging, running lights, toe rails, ports, cabin with sleeping for 5, galley area with sink, flip out stove, porta potti, rudder, deck vents, outboard motor brackets, VHF radio, stereo and speakers.
