Description

She's a nice beamy boat with lots of room inside with a fold down dining table and a double quarter berth, two main salon berths and a roomy Vee berth up front! The folding louvered door amidships can be used to close up the head compartment or close off the main cabin from the fore cabin. Could make a nice liveaboard for a couple.
She's got a nice cockpit layout for hanging outside, too! ... and plenty of deck space to make it easy to move about under way! There's a curved captains bench at the transom to make a comfortable seat for the skipper at any heel angle!
I've even got the original manufacturer's brochure for the boat! Too cool!
She's got double lifelines and a pelican hook entry to the stern!
Edson wheel steering, being rebuilt Monday and Tuesday, with a $400 Edson part!I've posted a picture of the new Edson part prior to installation!
Yanmar 1 cylinder inboard diesel runs like a champ! Was professionally pulled, rebuilt, and re-installed one year ago. Since then, the motor has only been run an hour or two. The boat has only motored one time, on the trip back from the boat yard. Starts and runs with no smoke! Installation is clean and good! I have the original brochure for the Yanmar along with PDF's of the owner's manual, the parts manual, and a maintenance manual. Ignition switch needs replaced, but the motor starts without it by pushing the starter button.
New VHF!
Depth sounder works great!
Full galley with top-cover cooler!
Stand-up Headroom throughout!
New Main Bulkheads, both port and starboard at the forward end of the main cabin! Just installed and painted!
Marine head, holding tank, and "Y" valve with deck pump-out!
Roller furling Jib!
Halyards run from the cockpit to the mast. Then they are run up the mast internally!
All cushions were just re-covered!
2 opening ports with screens: one in the head and one in the vee berth area!
Main hatch boards are 1/2" rose plexy! Lets light in, but keeps prying eyes out. The boat also has a full screen hatch board with aluminum framing to let the breeze flow through, without the mosquitos!
New portable Air Conditioner!
Newer batteries are 1 year old!
New bilge pump and float switch!

Great newer charging system, also a year old!
Nice electrical panel for both AC and DC. Easy access to working on the electrical system. Batteries are wired up very nicely.
All required safety gear including 2 NEW marine fire extinguishers! Flares are still good!
The boat has a nice deck locker for the anchor and rode. Has a big danforth, some chain and road. It's a good anchor setup for the shallow waters of the Texas Gulf coast.
Good dock lines and fenders.
Small cooler in the cockpit aft right next to where the helmsperson sits!
Registered in Texas, in my name, into 2019!
Clear Texas title in my name!
Hull Type: Fin w/spade rudder Rig Type: Masthead Sloop
LOA: 26.67'
Beam: 9.67' Wide beam gives lots of room on deck and below!
Displacement: 5200 lbs.
In the past 2+ years, the boat has had over $6000 put into it, not counting slip rent! Time to let her go!
Needs:New ignition switch if you want to key start the diesel. Otherwise, keep using the starter button.Main might could use some restitching. Not sure if cabin lights need work or new bulbs. I haven't checked them or the running lights yet. Will check this week and update.I only noticed one soft spot, about 15" long on the starboard side deck, just forward of the cockpit. Not real soft.Usual boat maintenance.
I will attempt to answer any and all questions about the boat, to the best of my ability. Please ask BEFORE you bid! Thanks.
Considering the age of the boat, there could easily be other things it may need that I haven't included here. Please feel free to contact me to arrange a viewing of the boat prior to bidding and or to arrange a marine survey prior to bidding. The boat will be sold "as is, where is."
The current slip is transferableto the new owner. It's a good spot right at the 146 bridge, so it's only a couple of minutes to Galveston Bay! Fuel dock is a couple hundred yards away, too. Dockside laundry, showers and bathrooms are about 35' from the boat! Lovely marina setting.
I'm selling my boat in order to buy a larger sailboat, one in the 30' to 36' range.
Please contact me if you have fewer than 10 positive feedbacks on your eBay ID, prior to bidding. I don't sell things much any more, but the last time I sold something, a low-feedback bidder won and bailed on me. I had to re-list the item and wait another week to get it sold. Thanks for understanding.
The boat is for sale, locally. I reserve the right to end the auction early.
