http://sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?class_id=7424
This is a proven blue water vessel with a heavy long keel, versatility in sail layout and ketch rigging, and shallow draft allowing comfortable and capable cruising through deep and shallow seas. The mighty sparrow has made several journeys through the bahamas, and now resides in Luperon harbor in the Dominican Republic.
For the interested party, here are the details:
Now she is a major project, the Engine (40hp 3cyl perkins perama) has been disassembled for rebuild, she has been left for some time and will need a lot of work. The RIB dinghy is in need of cleaning and repair. The caretaker on board has kept the boat dry and clean for the 2 years, never submerged, no hurricane damage.
Email or text message preferred. If you email I will give you the best way to contact me while I am in the Dominican Republic.
