Our beloved Trilogy is a Contest 33, build by Conyplex in Alkmaar, the Netherlands. The Contest 33 is a fast and seaworthy cruising yacht. Very modern lines designed by U. van Essen and Dick Zaal, very good performance and a comfortable interior. She was built in 1971 and therefore has nice thick fiberglass hull. When we saw her, she was a diamond in the rough, but we fell in love immediately. We made her shine again like the diamond she is today, a safe reliable Bluewater cruiser. All newly installed items have only been used since we started cruising the Caribbean in March 2017. We cruised with her from Florida to the Bahamas, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Virgin Island, the Leeward Islands and the Windward Islands. Trilogy is fully-equipped and ready to cruise, we hope to find enthusiastic sailors who will love and enjoy Trilogy like we do and will have amazing adventures with her.

- Yanmar 27 hp Diesel – 3GM30F – indirect raw water cooled (refurbished 2016/2017) runs really well
- Installed the following new: mixing elbow (2016), motor mounts (2016), racor fuel filter by Parker (2017), water strainer (2017), fuel pomp (2017)
- Servicing stuffing box and cutlass bearing (2016)
- All new hoses and hose clamps (2016)
- New prop (2016)
- New customized aluminum fuel tank (2017)

BELOW THE WATER LINE:|
She received a thorough bottom job in 2016.
- Closed all unnecessary through-hulls and installed newthrough-hull fittings and seacocks.
- Removed all old paint, faired the surface and gave her new epoxy barrier coat and 4 layers of antifouling.
- Fiberglass spade rudder mounted on skeg with heavy duty S/S gudgeon and heavy duty bearing (serviced 2016)
- New prop (2016)

ABOVE THE WATERLINE AND ON DECK:

- Also above the waterline she also received a new paintjob (two part epoxy, 2016/2017) and new non-skid kiwi grip on deck and in the cockpit (2017)
