History
Ordered new in 1983 through North Harbor Marina in Toledo Ohio, the first owner proudly took delivery in the summer of '84 and promptly began slaying Salmon just north of Chicago on Lake Michigan. The first owner used the boat only a few hours per week and maintained the boat perfectly until selling the boat to the current owner in the winter of '99. The current owner continued the same thorough maintenance over the course of the next 18 years!!

Needs
The wood is varnished and in good condition but will probably need a new coat in the fall, and the fiberglass could use a thorough polishing. Down below, the original interior does have some spotting on the ceiling from moisture but can easily be replaced or updated. The pump out head was rarely used and has not been tested this season but is known to have worked as recently as two seasons ago. The Eagle trailer does work and is in good condition but if you are trailering the boat over a long distance we do recommend servicing bearings and checking tires as well. Although the boat is mechanically ready to go we do recommend that you come see how nice the boat is in person or have the boat inspected/surveyed.

Why
If you are reading this ad you most likely know that Black Fin hulls are some of the strongest ever built and you rarely see them on the great lakes. These boats were built like tanks and were road hard and put away wet, but to find one that was used sparingly for recreational fishing on Lake Michigan is that needle in the haystack opportunity. Additionaly this boat has had the original engines replaced and are ready to roll. This boat is EXTREMELY dry and solid and is ready for another 30+ years of service!!
