Description

I will be trying this on Ebay for one week from today 9/13/14. If on the 20th, she hasn't a bona fide offer, I will be placing her with a yacht Broker. The new price will include their commission and thusly be for much more than what I have on Ebay. So, if you're at all interested in this yacht, you should act accordingly. Quickly! 1988 42’ Grand Banks Classic This 1988 GB Classic was originally commissioned by a wealthy family living in New England. They and previous owners improved the vessel as time went by. NAIAD Stabilizers, VacuFlush heads, gray-water holding tank for shower and a/c condensate, and a massive battery bank are just a few. Many of the vessels appointments are similar to what we see now on 1990 models The vessel lived most of it’s life under cover during winter months and in fresh water or in the Chesapeake or further North. The condition is exceptional given her age. Lovely thick teak decks, shiny white fiberglass and rich deep bright work. Her Lehman engines are tried and proven as they have 6,800 well maintained hours. Her generator was replaced with a new Northern Lights - currently 2,450 hours. If you like a Rolls-Royce ride, then stabilizers are for you. Stabilizers make a world of difference in comfort and can make a passage seem effortless. Imagine a glass of wine on a table - without stabilizers that glass may end up on the deck. With stabilizers it should stay upright. All canvas was recently treated with water-proofing chemicals. All teak recently varnished and window frames painted.
