The Show 34 is a product of Barberis Cantieri S.p.A, noted for fast cruising yachts, finished in the impeccable tradition of Italian craftsmanship. Barberis Show 34, a Douglas Peterson project (best known for Azzurra), was designed to be the most luxuriously comfortable 34-foot sailing yacht you can find, On deck, she’s all business, but below the Show 34 is just plain beautiful. Hand rubbed teak, teak and holly sole. Beautifully finished fiberglass insets, a lovely galley big enough for banquet and accommodations you’ll really like. The dinette–navigator’s quarter berth arrangement is spacious and comfortable in the estreme. The Show 34 is a big boat with an enormous amount of interior space, the main salon is almost 11 square feet. The big U-shaped dinette seats 6/7 for dinner and converts into a mammoth double bed at night. On the port side across from the dinette is a comfortable settee., with very deep enclosed shelf spaces behind. Aft to port is a large galley with sink, propane 3 burner cooking stove and oven on gimbals, ice ches, closets and lockers behind louvered doors, a wine cellar cest, three drawers and fitted enclosures for china, glasses and cutlery. The navigation area contains a large chart table with shelves and wall space for electronic navigation and communication equipment, plus a big quarter berth with wet suit locker, drawers and enclosed shelves for storage. The fore cabin is a roomy stateroom with settee, two berths, hanging locker, drawers, two large enclosed shelves and a huge storage area under the berths. A finely-crafted one-piece plastic moulding makes the head a bright and cheerful room, with wash basin, mirrored cabinet, marine head and shower, plus plenty of room to turn around in. There are six large plexiglass cabin windows, smoked plexiglass opening hatches in main and forecabin, and an opening plexiglass window for ventilating the head. |
