COLUMBIA 26 HULL PROJECT SAILBOAT

Description

You are bidding on a Columbia 26 sailboat that is a full on PROJECT sailboat. The only thing on it is the hull, rudder, tiller, and keel. There are a few other things, like thru hull fittings and turn off valves, some hoses, but basically it is just the original fiberglass interior to build off of.
Not sure of what year it is, but probably in the early 70's..Most of the deck is solid, but some soft spots forward. The hull is in good shape, needs paint and has some minor scuffs..Needs a forward hatch cover. Does have a fiberglass sliding entry hatch, but needs entry boards.
This was a documented vessel and you may be able to re-document it. I can only give you a bill of sale and the bill of sale from the marina where I got it.
The boat has to be moved by the end of the month and is towable as the steering is functional.. The marina can haul it out also for a fee or maybe free; but you will need a trailer and it does have a draft of about 4 feet and a weight of about 5500 lbs. The keel is 2500 lbs and lead according to specks.. It also is removable if you cut the 7 bolts/nuts holding it to the hull.
A nice feature is the built in outboard well in the stern of the cockpit just in front of the tiller/rudder. See the cockpit picture.
