This is a perfect boat for the person that wants the largestinterior of any 44 foot boat in the world for a low price and a little sweatequity. Here is my sad story. I am the 3ed owner since new. Purchased this boat in 1993 andtraveled the NE and lived aboard during the spring, summer and fall. Adivorcekept the boat from leaving New York by the courts. I moved to FL. It has been stored on land andsurvivedSandy with noDamage.Well after many years the court says it all mine (USCG document has only my name with no issues). As it is in NY and I am in FL with great regret I need to sell.
This boat is not ready to go. But it can be kept in the current yard while made ready. Storage cost will be between the new owner and the yard they quote $50 per foot for 6 months. You can do your own work in the yard and your storage will start when we close on the boat. I will do my best to cover each part of the boat on the good and the bad. CAN I SEE THE BOAT?: Yes It is located in Nicholas Marina 3270 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306 it can bee seen 7 days a week. To see the inside YOU MUST CONTACT ME with your phone # to arrange.
WHAT WOULD IT TAKE TO GET THE IN THE WATER TO MOVE?: Shortanswer replace 3 racor filters that were stolen ($300 total on ebay) . Polish or replace thediesel fuel about 200 gal in the tank was stored withstabilizer andbiocide.Replace 3 4D batteries (there are 3 new batteries on boat that have never been hooked up but sitting for 4 years.Bottompaint is still good as it is ablative 4 coats of blue over 2 coats of black. If it shows black it needs paint there only. Long Answer: All the above and repair the one locked up engine that has beenpickledwith marvelmysteryoil or replace with running take out or rebuilt. Ship yard can use equipment to lift in and out.
CAN THE BOAT BE TRUCKED: Yes the hardtop and flybridge can be removed. This boat was trucked across the USA to SF from florida were it was built to the first owner. The costs are very different depending what HWY the trucker uses to were.

Hull: NO PROBLEMS. 10 years ago I had the bottom shaved andre glassedwith epoxyresin (110 gal of epoxy) and the hull repainted at a cost of $35,000. All the through hulls were replacedwith allnew ballvalves. No soft spotsanywhere. newcutlassbearings. Crane for lifting dingy on aft roof. Needpower washonly. and revarnish teak
Interior: The inside wood is in very good condition please look at the pictures. No rotted wood no soft spots. boat has been dry inside.
Gally: Full sizerefrigerator, princess stove and SS microwave. all good
Heads: ForwardManuel head with shower Aft Head: Freshwater head, shower with bathtub. all good
Tanks: 1- 250 gal water tank 1-200 gal water tank 1- 500 gal fuel tank water tanks were filled with antifreeze when stored
Electronics: GPS, VHF,stereo what you see in the pictures
Engines: Two- Perkins 130 HP 6-354N Port engine Turns and was running great when stored 1650 hours (may needexhaustmanifold, but there is a spare on the boat) Starboard engine when checking on boat 3 years ago theenginewould not turn. Removed the injectors and rockers and thinkitsa lifter stuck. The engine andcylinderswere filled with 5 gal of MarvelMysteryOil hours 1650 The boat was broken into and the racor fuel filters were stolen. If you want to repower rebuilt go for $6000 running take outs go for $3-4000. They can be rebuilt in frame for $850 per kit
Generator: 8KWOnan This was installed by the last ownerreplacingthe 7.5 that came with the boat. It has a soundshield. Thethievestried to stealthisbutonlyunbolted it from its mount. It has 560 hours. Needs to beboltedin place.

This vessel is currently selling for : $85,000 - $125,000 ready to go. (?) This is a easy project as theengine andgeneratorare the most work the rest is just cleaning andmiscellaneous repairs. There are many spares on board and many customadd ins.
