2017 Cobalt R5WSS Surf (R5 WSS)

Description

I'm selling my brand new Cobalt R5 WSS Surf edition. This is an amazing fresh water only boat with the Volvo forward drive for surfing (it's only been in Lake Tahoe). It's basically tricked out with every option available including the engine upgrade to the 380 horsepower engine. If you wanted to purchase this new it would cost $170k. Save yourself $40k.
This is the Surf edition and makes a great wave on the lake. Then, when you want to go home, it slices through the chop with barely a shudder and passes all of the inboard ski boats on the way. It's the best of both worlds... a great ski, surf, wakeboard boat that gives you the safety of the propeller being forward but with the speed and comfort of a big lake boat.
The warranty covers the engine, drive, and surf system until 2022. If you know Cobalt, you know that they stand behind their warranties.
While I do love the boat and we have enjoyed it several times during the summer so far, I purchased it so my son could learn to wake surf but he refuses to even try it. As a result, I'd like this boat to go to a family that can really use it. My loss is your gain.
