1979 22 foot boston whaler divemaster. This is a very rare boat. The boat is solid everywhere. Maybe this was a boat that was used by coast guard or navy? lots of storage. Had fiberglass expert check transom---solid....floors are all solid as well. The motor is a fully serviced and turn key 2003 Yamaha 150 hpdi. even compression, runs very smooth. ..the gas tank was removed, checked, and cleaned last service before filters were changed. everything was clear and good.
This boat needs cosmetics. This was used mainly as a dive boat. there will need to be minor fiberglass topside in areas around the rub rail . again, nothing structural is needed. 2 hatches do not match, but are solid. this is a perfect boat for total restoration. that was my plan, but I am just too busy right now and will nothave time to finish in the near future and do not want the boat to just sit.
What the boat needs---cosmetics and the switch on the throttle for the trim motor. it works going up on the throttle, not down. up and down work perfect on the motor itself. The steering is tight but functional. I think the throttle cable will need replacing as well, it is tight as the throttle gets wide open.
The motor itself, very little corrosion if any on the steering arm. motor runs great, starts right up. idle is perfect. stainless steel prop

bottom of the boat---straight and solid. will need bottom paint and sanding to make nice.
I would like to keep the trailer but will sell for an additional $1400 firm ---if needed. Double axle aluminum--- fully serviced hub and bearing buddies. excellent shape.
Console in last picture is included. A leaning post with a built in cooler is also included. A bimini top is included with sale.
