Up for No reserve auction is a 1996 Seaswirl Striper 2150, Walk Around. This vessel is a 21' 4" vessel powered with a Volvo/Penta 5.0L stern drive with approximately 200hrs on rebuild, and about 800 hours total for the boat. Also includes an anchor pulpit, hydraulic steering, and trim tabs. In 2010 it was outfitted with an Atlantic Towers Aluminum fishing arch with 4 Rod holders and spreader lights. Boat has an additional 4 rod holders mounted in the cockpit. It has a large live well molded in to the transom as well. There is plenty of room down below to get out of the weather or to spend the night. The cushions convert from benches into a bed that can sleep two adults.
This boat has spent most if not all of its life in the brackish waters of the Northern Chesapeake Bay (which is almost completely fresh water, 200 miles from the Atlantic). It has only spent one season (2011) in a slip, always on a trailer or high and dry storage. Our family has owned this boat since 2011 and we have enjoyed many hours of boating, fishing and playing on the Chesapeake Bay.
This boat is ready to fish and play on now! It was started in April with a fresh oil change to prepare it for this seasons boating. However we acquired yet another boat at the same time and have not taken the Striper out this season, hence the reason for selling.
As you would expect with any vessel of this age, there are numerous cosmetic blemishes including chips, scratches, cracks, stains, etc. As well as several items that could be replaced including instruments, wash-down pump, live well pump, and cracked front hatch. None of these things will affect your ability to enjoy the boat immediately, they could easily be repaired, replaced, or ignored, now or in the off season if you choose.
Included in the auction is a tandem axle trailer. The trailer is in need of service including new tires and complete replacement of the brake system. I have not, nor would I, hesitate towing it for a short distance though (I have towed it over 100 miles one way in its current configuration).
I have clear titles for both the boat and for the trailer. As well as the original owners manuals for the Boat and the engine.
