1988 Sea Ray 35' Express Cruiser No Reserve!

This boat is being relisted because of a NON PAYING bidder. Please--if you bid, carry out your obligation! You are (hopefully) bidding on a 35' Sea Ray 340 Express Cruiser. The hull and interior of this boat are in excellent condition, with a large v-berth forward, a very nice galley amidships, a head and shower, and a berth forward of the engine room. There is even an air conditioning system and wine cooler on board! The seating area around and behind the helm is quite large, and is enclosed by a blue canvas cover (removable). The galley includes a microwave, stove top, and Norcold refrigerator. Navigational and operational equipment includes Raytheon radar, Garmin GPS, VHF radio, depth sounder, and auto pilot. Generator, Velvet Drive transmissions, trim tabs, hot water heater, 40 gallon fresh water tank, 28 gallon black water tank, remote spotlight, electric anchor winch, swim step, and more. The boat was hauled, surveyed, and had its bottom painted in January of 2016. The bottom has been cleaned monthly. A copy of the survey is available. Now the bad news: only two things don't work on this boat: 1. the port engine; 2. the starboard engine. That's why the opening bid is so low and there's no reserve. Both engines need to be replaced. They are Mercruiser (GM) 454's (7.4 liter) 4-barrel Rochester carburetor-equipped engines with fresh water cooling. Both are locked up, so assume they will need to be removed and either rebuilt or replaced with long blocks. The hang-ons (exhaust and intake manifolds, risers, accessories, brackets, etc) appear to be in good condition. With the engines repaired, this would make a great boat for cruising up and down the coast and out to Catalina. Boat is located in Marina del Rey, Ca. No trailer. This is a documented vessel. We have the current documentation in hand. Winning bidder is responsible for obtaining a slip and moving the boat within two weeks of end of auction. THE BOAT CANNOT STAY AT ITS CURRENT SLIP.
