Yacht Class Boat. 2000 SeaRay 280SS with 1,000 horsepower. Family owned and faster than 99% of boats on Tahoe. Perfect day cruiser for the whole family and fun for the times when we want to go faster than all the other boats on the lake.

You can have all of the pleasure and versatility your heart desires in this sport cruiser. In the 280 Sun Sport, your guests can relax in circular aft seating in close proximity to the cockpit refreshment center. Down below, the galley is perfect for preparing simple meals and the V-berth converts to a spacious dinette.

As the origional owner, we put less than 40 hours of use on the boat each year. Maintained by MTR Marine in the Tahoe Keys. This boat has lived its entire life in the fresh waters of Lake Tahoe. Dry storage during the winrters. All records are up to date and the boat runs and looks like new.

The twin Mercury Marine 350 MAG MPI engines come equipped with Pro-Charger intercooled superchargers. Each supercharger is running a 10 lb boost pulley allowing EFI manifold pressure of 21 psi (max EFI pressure) at Lake Tahoe (6,200 feet). This allows the boat to hit a consistant top speed of 60 MPH @ 5K RPM.

The stern drives are down geared to a high altitude configuration and equiped with 26” Laser-Tuned Bravo 1 - 4 blade propellers.

Additionally included with the boat will be:

* A set of 19” 3 blade propellers (origional configured propeller before superchargers)

* A set of 24” 4 blade propellers (quicker reving engine and low end, 55mph top speed)

* A set of 26” 4 blade propellers (current configuration for 63MPH max)

* A set of 7 lb pulleys for sea level configuration

The superchargers have reciently been rebuilt in 2016 and have seen 8 hours since. New racing 6 rib supercharger belts and new charge pressure hoses feeding the intercoolers have been installed. Consistant maintnance of outdrives (rebuilt), fluids, spark plugs, etc have been performed.

Boat is equiped a new Lowrance color screen nav/fish finder/gps speedometer. The single din radio has been replaced by a modern bluetooth radio. Life jackets (8), bumpers(4), dock lines, mooring lines, 2 anchors, owners manual, etc is included. Boat canvas has all been replaced in the last 3 years.

Trailer has been rebuilt and services summer 2017. New tires, bearings packed, boat carpet-pads, leaf springs, rocker arms, and braking and electrical service completed.

Boat is kindly equipped with the following features:
