23' foot Sea Ray Sundancer Cruiser with 4.3L V6 Mercruiser and Dual Axle Trailer
Description
Ready for camping on the water!
Very clean 1992 23’ dual cabin Sea Ray 230 Sundancer cruiser with matching dual axle galvanized trailer and economical 4.3L V6 Mercruiser Alpha One Gen II inboard/outboard. Less than 500 hours on the meter.
Includes snap in carpet, bimini top, and full camper canvas.
Registered for the 2017 season. Runs perfect, always fires up. Trailer is solid with good tires and new lights. No leaks through any of the cabin windows.
Dual trim tabs, engine trim, wiper, bilge, stereo with AUX input for iPod/iPhone, new blower this year, new steering wheel (not pictured), all lights work including cabin lights. Built in swim platform with ladder. New heavy duty anchor with 4’ galvanized chain and 100’ anchor line. New battery powered LED lights for bow and stern so you don’t need to worry about battery drain when camping. Original manual.
I bought this boat from the original owner who had it professionally winterized, stored, and spring serviced every year. He used it on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH and said it’s only been in the ocean twice in it’s life. I’ve only used ValvTect Marine Gasoline since I purchased.
Only reason I’m selling is to upgrade to a larger cruiser.
All photos are from July/August 2017.
Boat is located in Belgrade, Maine. Will consider delivery throughout New England for a fee.
What does it need for work?
The engine needs nothing and the hull is solid / needs nothing. Depending on the buyer’s preferences, you may or may not want to address the few things I’ve listed below:
- Speedometer hasn’t worked since I bought the boat, and I never bothered replacing.
- I never bothered adding a portable toilet (and was all set on taking one from the original owner!) but you can get one on sale on Amazon for $56 if you want to add one.
- Cockpit upholstery is showing its age - see photos. If it was replaced the boat would probably look brand new.
If the boat sells for my asking price of 12.6K, I will knock off an additional $500 so you can address the few items above.
For payment, cash, credit or debit is preferred. Checks are okay but will need to clear before pickup.
Feel free to ask me any questions and happy boating!
