Selling my 1994 37' Sea Ray Express Cruiser. I purchased this boat last fall; knowing it needed some work. Purchased in Florida, and had shipped to Indiana. Winterized last fall and waited untilnow to begin the project. It turns out it is a littlebeyond my capability. I am approaching 70 years old and I just don't have the energy or expertise to tackle this boat.
The boat is solid, but needs a lot of cleaning, some parts repaired or replaced and someone who has the experience to bring this boat back to the star it can be. Boat was usedmostly for fishing in Florida and shows lack of regular care. We know both engines run, but may have cooling issues. There is a Westerbake generator onboard, have no idea if it works. That is all I know about the boat. We never put in the water since arriving in Indiana. Galley and head need a lot of work. I assume all the electric and water systems will need attention.
Please remember, this is aPROJECTboat. It's going to take some time and a little money to bring her back. I can't give you a lot of detail of what all it needs, I just don't have that information. Sea Rays of this year and size are selling between $45-50K so there is plenty of margin to bring this boat back.
Boat is located at Lighthouse Point Marina in Aurora, IN 47001. It must be moved by the end of June or you can leave there and assume month to month storage while you restore. Monthly fee about $150
I have had many questions regarding moving this boat. There are many resources to get quotes on boat transport. You can plug in both zip codes and give the boat model and size and you will get very quick andseveral proposals. The marina does have a travel lift to facilitate loading onto whatever form of mover or trailer you decide upon
I also had a BoatFax report run on this boat by hull number to make sure it was not previously damaged or submerged. Everything came back clean.
Boat is also listed for sale locally. Auction may end early.
