custom 1978 65 sailboat no reserve health forces sale

I thought I had found my dream project boat, but health issues force us to give her up for now.

Custom 1978 ferro-cement sloop built in a local professional yard in Honolulu. Her (smaller) sistership made a circumnavigation in the 1970s and the owner used Anitra for family cruising for several years. He passed away a few years ago and a relative was living aboard till last year.

Anitra is a project, make no mistake, but she has sound bones and a strong engine, professionally maintained since she was built. The interior woodwork needs mostly re-done, wiring should be replaced. I'd replace the standing and running rigging as well.

The engine has been professionally maintained and runs well. We rebuilt the starter earlier this year before she made her buoy run in January. We also had the bottom cleaned before the buoy run.

I've added a rough (not to scale) sketch to give you an idea of the layout and the pics I have.

Entering the companionway from the deck, the galley is to the right and storage to the left.

Moving forward, the dinette is on the right and more storage on the left.

Further forward is the mast to the right and a separate cabin with two bunk style beds on the right and two bunks on the left.

Finally there is a large V berth forward.

Aft from the companionway is a passage aft on the right side past the large engine room.

Past the engine room is the aft head (and separate companionway entrance from the deck) and the main cabin.

There is separate access to the engine room from the deck via a hatch and (steep) ladder.

Electronics: none (a possibly functional Loran, but not tested)

Engine: Cummings 150 HP deisel, hours unknown, professionally maintained. Starts and runs well.
