2003 24' Custom Performance Center Console
Available for sale is my custom-made fishing machine. This boat was expertly hand built by an employee of Nor-tech Boats (see nor-techboats.com) in the Nor-tech factory. It is not a Nor-tech - but it may as well be as the builder used his access to all of Nor-tech's suppliers as well as the expertise of the Nor-tech craftsmen. The hull came from an Apache mold (see apachepowerboats.com). Apaches are high quality ocean performance hulls. There were no short cuts taken in the building of this classic. The glass work is seriously heavy duty - everything is encapsulated and gel coated. The center console tower is custom-made powder-coated welded 2" tube that feels like it is part of the boat. The same goes for the leaning post. The electric wiring is all professional quality with all switches with built-in breakers. All the cleats are stainless pop-up style. All metal hardware is stainless steel. All thru hulls are stainless steel. You are not going to find this level of quality detail on a production boat unless you are looking at something in the Nor-tech or Regulator class of boat. This type of quality build allows the age of the boat to not matter.
ENGINE/DRIVE- The power comes from a 2003 5.7 L MPI Mercruiser producing 300 hp with 850 hours. It is fresh water cooled with a built-in inlet for flushing after use. It is mated to the reliable Bravo I drive. The steering is IMCO hydraulic assisted racing style. The tabs are Kiekaefer racing style hydraulic tabs. 4 blade stainless steel prop with spare 3 blade stainless steel prop. Racing style controls and steering wheel. The fuel tank holds 112 gallons. NEW anodes on drive.
COCKPIT- The cockpit is equipped with salt water wash down to quickly clean the solid fiberglass cockpit. There are scuppers in the rear of the boat to drain water overboard. There is also a fresh water rinse with a 10 gallon holding tank and spray nozzles in the center console and at the transom. There is ample storage in the large fish boxes and cooler. Built in fishing tackle drawers in the center console. Everything on the boat is equipped with drains right down to the stainless cupholders. Large livewell that mounts on the swim step is included. Custom canvas covers with heavy duty zippers for the console and leaning post are included as well as a full storage cover. Dash is real carbon fiber. NEW Ritchie compass. NEW 4-step stainless steel telescoping swim step ladder.
ELECTRONICS- The helm includes a NEW Mercury Vesselview 7 for display of all engine data. NEW West Marine VHF-490 VHF radio with GPS positioning. Furuno FCV-582L fish finder. Garmin echoMap 70s GPS. Stereo consists of Sony head unit with remote control on dash, 2 Sony amps, 2 Fusion 10" subwoofers, 2 JL7" speakers and 4 NEW Polk 6.5" speakers. 2 NEW dual purpose batteries on a 4-way battery switch and a NEW 2 bank Minnkota battery charger.
TRAILER- It sits on a 2003 Boatmaster double axle trailer that has been recently upgraded. NEW heavy duty winch, strap and bow stop. NEW trailer jack and breakaway cables. Newer torsion axels and tires. Trailer boat guides with built in brake/signal lighting at the top. 2 mounted spare tires.
This boat has been professionally maintained throughout its life and is ready to fish today. It is loaded with many BRAND NEW upgrades all done within the last few months.
