Description
'56 Yellow Jacket hull, '57 Johnson 35 HP, '56 TeeNee trailer. All in excellent condition. Yellow Jacket boats were manufactured in Dennison, TX. The company was 1/2 owned by Roy Rogers. Seehttp://www.martyonline.com/ He set a speed record on the Mississippi River with one.The boat was COMPLETELY rebuilt from the keel up. These boats have a rounded chine. They are made from 5 plys of moulded Birch. All top materials were used in the restoration. 3M 5200 Mahogany sealer, Smith's CEPS, Interlux paints, Honduran Mahogany, SS screws except where visible. There we used original aluminum screws. The hull is now stronger than the original boat. When we got it, all glues, except in the molded hull had totally broken down. That is why we went with CEPS and 5200. Motor was overhauled and painted. The foot needs repainting. The motor is a rare electric starting. Now, this rig is a show boat, It was last run about 4 years ago. It ran then. It runs in the mid 30's speed wise. We bought the trailer from a man in Michigan. They did not title small trailers. This boat has won a number of awards. We have brochures, etc. We also have a pair of restored Varnished Cypress Gardens ski. We will deliver within 100 mi. If you wish to pick it up, come visit our beautiful town of Pass Christian. We're on the MS Gulf Coast. Casinos in nearby cities.
