Thanks for looking. This is a Herreshoff Joel Sailing dinghy 13’ long 52” beam PROJECT boat with trailer complete. 2nd owner and had planned to repair and get her going but ran out of time. Last sailed in 2011, some minor wood rot then however has been stored outdoors since and afraid to say the wood rot has increased. The keel is strong with minor signs of wood rot however 50% of the carvel planks will need to be replace and pretty much all the steam bent ribs. Now the good – all the teak is in great condition ready to refinish, includes the main mast, main sail, wood boom, solid wood leather wrapped oars with solid bronze horns, tiller in great condition and includes the trailer. When we used was fun to sail even in a stiff breeze – these were known to be very stable. Has the classic drop center board, which was rebuilt many years ago and is still solid. The tiller pintles are solid bronze and in great shape. Great project boat with a classic design. Never fiber-glassed and built as original. The pictures show the trailer with flat tires – these will be replaced with new tires. Cedar plank, white oak ribs and keel, teak everywhere. Local pick up only.
