1987 O'Day 272LE and 2009 Karavan Trailer

For Sale, 1987 O'Day 272LE with a 2009 Karavan Trailer. The 272LE was one of the last models O'day sailboats produced and the most popular. The boat is equipped with a Westerbeke 10-2 2cyl diesel engine (approx 50 hrs), Edson wheel steering, galley, head, CDI roller furler, sleeps 4 comfortably. Galley is equipped with an alcohol stove and stainless steel sink. The only electronics in the boat is a marine radio. The engine has had the oil and fuel filters changed every year in use. New raw water pump 2010, exhaust elbow, and new fuel filter system. The sails are original. There is some minor cobwebbing of the deck gelcoat, this can be expected of a vessel of this vintage. Keel sump dry. no leakage. Sailboat comes with a 2009 galvanized Karavan trailer that I converted to a sailboat trailer. The trailer is rated for 9200lbs. Tires are excellent.
In case you look at the HIN number for this boat, the following is an explanation. The 272 and 272LE were built during the last few years that O'Day was in existence, and the corporate ownership was changing during this time (though not the brand name). For this reason, the owner's manual says O'Day but the hull identification number says Starcraft Sailboat Products (STR) instead of the XDY for O'Day.
*****Note: Pictures were taken approximately five years ago. Sailboat has always been shrink-wrapped during the winter season and maintained.
