This is a 2009 Lowes 1648 Big Jon Boat (with Modified V Hull) / Bass Boat with a low-hour 25 hp Tohatsu four-stroke fuel injection engine (with transom saver). This 25 Tohatsu is very economical and it pushes the with ease. The boat has side console steering and four seats; two jon boat style and two bass boat seats. The fish finder is right on the money, not to mention the aerated livewell. This boat also comes with lockable storage compartments (keyed-alike). The platforms are made from 1/4" x 2" aircraft grade aluminum. Fabrication and installation cost @ $600.00. The front platform will house life jackets, fishing poles, & tackle boxes. It also has 2 flush-mounted rod holders and 2 bass seats mounts ( see pics).The rear platform secures the cranking battery and the fuel tanks; it also has 1 flush-mounted rod holder installed. This boat can function perfectly as a bass boat. You have full fishing access from the bow to the stern. Or if you are into hunting and you need to remove the platform(s) for duck blinds, the platforms can easily be removed.The trailer is a 2010 Road King Trailer with guides & a new spare tire. It is also in good condition. The tires are in good condition 75% and the hubs have been serviced. This boat has a fresh battery for the cranking motor. All the required coast guard equipment is either new or in very good condition (fire extinguisher, throw cushion, air horn, nav lights, flare gun, etc.) I will include a couple of life jackets, a paddle, and an anchor. Let's go fishing! If you are looking for the most economical way to go fishing (and not compromise safety), this may be a good option for you. This boat is stable enough for my 2 daughters and myself to stand up and fish from the same side and not worry about capsizing. Yet, this boat is also small enough to get to our favorite honey hole on the river. The modified v hull makes a noticeable difference if the lake is white capping. I have two sets of keys for the engine and the locks. This boat was a one-owner boat which spent most of its time locked in a garage. Since I have had the boat, it spends most of its time under and enclosed shelter. This boat has not been used and abused. It has not been left out in the weather. It has been serviced at least once a year whether it needed it or not. Fresh water use only.I simply don't have the time to use it and I could use my space for something else.
