this is a 1976 crown dory with a matching 1976 calkins trailer
trailer has hydraulic surge brakes but the lines and reservoir needs to be cleaned
crown built two of this boats and sold then to a man from Kaiser who added the cabin and sold them new, because of this it does not state crown as the builder, but as a homebuilt
crown dorys were built it Fort Hill Oregon and are a much sought after boat and several of them are still being used in the Oregon fishing fleet, one sold a few years back that was a 25ft with trolling permit for 25,000 but only had a single inboard
these boats were sold with the engine configuration that the buyer wanted, I have never seen one with dual inboards such as this
one engine has 88 hours on the meter and the other 143
the engines are 170 Volvo 6 cylinders
the outdrives are Volvo 280
the valve train still looks new, no sludge or rust, you can still see yellow paint from the factory
I have started both motors using a remote tank as the carburators and gas tank and lines need to be cleaned, both motors pumped water as they should, no water is in the oil
there is a freeze plug missing on the front of one of the motors as they were trying to hook up a hot water line
has dual helms and controls
wiring needs to be gone through and connections cleaned up
cabin has fiberglass top but it has from drill holes which have since been sealed, side wood and framework should be rebuilt
has a toilet, 2 sinks, refridgerator, and a alcohol stove, the boat has been sitting without use and just needs a thorough going over
the boat has only been used in salt water twice in the bays, the rest of the use was in freshwater
has fresh water tank
