Hull type: Featured high speed monoplane bottoms with wide, flaring, anti-trip sides. Deck is combined with wedge-shaped platform which minimized frontal resistance. All surfaces are made from sheet plywood planking for minimum hull weight.

Shell is a mahogany finish, with a painted bottom (white and maroon).

Power: 1972 50HP Mercury Thinderbolt long shaft (video of motor running available)

This is the largest and fastest of the Glen-L racing runabouts. The "D" class can attain straightaway speeds of up to 75 mph.
