Selling a custom built 23’ Glen-L Tahoe model. It looks like a classic 1940’s vintage boat but without all the maintenance and upkeep of a true wooden boat of that era. This one is very much maintenance free since it is completely encased in epoxy. Construction of this boat took five years, following the plans provided by Glen-L. Boat has plenty of power to pull water skiers or large fun tubes. Performs very well on the water, rides very nicely on inland lakes or river ways. Seats 7 adults comfortably. Has very little use, less than 50 hours.
Engine is cooled by traditional radiator/antifreeze which is then cooled by seawater intake which is expelled via the exhaust, cooling the exhaust manifolds. So seawater never comes in direct contact with the internal engine, prolonging its life if ever exposed to salt water. Also makes winterizing much easier since the engine only comes in contact with the antifreeze. Engine is a turn-key engine provided by Michigan Motorz along with transmission and all dashboard gauges. Basically just dropped the engine/transmission in and connected the dash gauges, very simple and trouble free.
Boat is meant to be trailered, not kept in the water for extended periods since the bottom is not painted with anti-fowling paint. It could be repainted with the anti-fowl and then kept dockside, but it is really too nice to be kept in the elements.
All upholstery was professionally done. Comes with a custom made matching cover for trailering. Trailer was custom built for this boat, complete with electric brakes. Includes a side ladder to get back aboard from the water, an anchor, dock bumper buoys, flag and lines. Two-Part dense closed cell foam was poured into the hull cavity to provide positive buoyancy in the event the boat takes on water and the bulge pump cannot keep up.
