Description

Up for grabs is a nice 25' Mac/Venture 25' sailboat. Boat is in good shape, especially for the age, its a 1977. Has brand new tempered glass windows, new Ruddercraft tiller, and new coleman porta potti. Pop top is in good solid condition, and comes with camping enclosure for top. Boat comes complete with all interior cushions, some have already been recovered, some could use it, but all are useable. Sails are in great shape, has 1 main and 2 jibs. Sails and cushions were removed from boat and have been stored inside. Boat includes a princess alcohol stove, its functioning condition is unknown to me. Has been wired with a 110 shore power system that works great. 12v system consists of a working interior cabin light, bilge pump, cigarette lighter type outlet, and stereo. It does have a fuse panel for the 12v, and a breaker box for the 110. Also included is a Mercury 7.5hp 2 stroke outboard with pull and electric start. It comes with fuel line and tank also. Motor starts and runs excellent. I do have a clear title for the boat in my name. Trailer pulls great, all lights work, and hydraulic brakes were added and work great. Also, includes larger silver tarp for cover. Boat is available for inspection in Flemingsburg, KY 41041. Deposit due within 24hrs, full payment due within 7days. I can continue to store the boat for up to 30 days, but payment is still due in 7 days.
UPDATE: We took the boat out this weekend for a sail and she did great. Spent 2 nights on her without a single glitch. BUT before our departure I decide to change the lower unit oil in the outboard and messed up a seal in it. Not sure the extent of it yet, but upon refilling I ended up with oil running out the water intake louver. I may or may not have it fixed before auction end so bid accordingly. Thanks.
