• The 1988 Compac 16-3 sailboat with the many accessories listed in additional information below.
• 2015 Tohatsu 6HP SailPro (long-shaft & battery charger) outboard engine. Purchased new in August 2015, the engine has less than 10 hours on it. This engine sips fuel! Includes two 3-gallon gas cans.
• Galvanized trailer, completely rebuilt and painted in 2016 – new axle, wheels, tires, LED lights, surge disc brakes and master cylinder. Custom welded extendable tongue – shorten for towing, extends additional 6’ for easy launching in shallow water.
Additional information:
• Boat wiring is all new with 85 amp hour AGM deep cycle battery, battery charger, Victron battery monitor, master switch, fuse box, 2-12V accessory plugs in cabin, and exterior switches in cockpit for running lights, navigation lights, anchoring light, and nav instruments – all within easy reach of helmsman.
• Ritchie compass and Raymarine depth sounder and speed log in cockpit.
• Boat always garaged and never set outside when not in use.
• Sails in great shape.
• This well-built sailboat can handle pretty rough conditions and Compac 16’s are known for their quality and safety. I have sailed on Lakes Erie, Michigan, and Huron (North Channel) in this boat and have never felt safer.
• Shoal draft keel – floats in only 18” of water.
• 7’ cockpit seats. • 2 - 7’ berths in cuddy cabin plus plenty of room for all your gear.
• Standard Horizon (HX290) handheld floating marine transceiver (VHF). New masthead antenna for included handheld VHF. Could also be used for a permanently installed VHF if needed.
• Masthead anchoring light – rare in a sailboat this size.
• All new running rigging in 2015.
• Thetford Porta Pot – never used.
• 10# Danforth and 8# Bruce anchors each with plenty of rode (new in 2015).
