I inherited this boat while helping a friend sell his larger boat. Boat was painted a couple of years ago and comes with its trailer. I am not a boat person and should have sold this boat long ago, boat can be viewed with advance notice. Designed by Hubert Van de Stadt and built by Vandestadt and McGruer in Owen Sound, the Sirius 28 is a Canadian classic with contemporary features.
A Canadian Yachting review by Paul Howard in 1986 described the Sirius 28 as a reliable, appealing cruiser of 'modern, conservative' design.
The generous beam, high freeboard and high coachroof create a wonderfully spacious interior, and the beam carried aft results in a large cockpit, generally found on newer designs.
