For Sale -76' Steel Hulled Research Utility/Vessel MV Thunderforce. This is a turn key vessel operating out of Ft. Pierce, Florida servicing projects along the US Eastern Seaboard and Gulf of Mexico. The vessel is currently captained and crewed and receives regularly scheduled maintenance. The vessel is primarily used for geophysical and geotechnical projectsand isalso chartered for other cruises for cable repair, bouy deployment, mini sub launching and Department of Defense projects.Its 20,000lb capacity"A" frame and work deck area, make it the perfect work platform for a variety of projects.


The vessel continues to be upgraded and every two years is dry docked for inspection and service. Last in and out service wascompleted August of2015 where improvements included new deck plating, tank cleaning, anchor winchand chain replacement, new computer systems, mattress and drape replacement, refrigerator replacement, shaft straightening, cutlass bearing replacement, proprepair and tuning, antenna replacements,zinc replacement, sandblasting andpainting. Vesseltransmission gears werealso replaced in 2015.
