Description
Alberg 23 probably built in the 70s, maybe before Hull IDs were mandatory. Boat comes with four-wheel trailer (needs lights), mainsail and 120 genny (both in need of cleaning), 15 hp ex-shaft Johnson. Motor was overhauled 8 years ago, has been stored since. Boat has new deck (end-grain balsa-cored), and is structurally sound. Has some crazing at the mast step and a few other places. Some small filler repairs have been made in the gel coat. One crack in the forward part of the cockpit (just aft of the hatchway) needs attention--see photos. In general, it needs cosmetic care and accouterments, new lifelines, cushions, probably new rigging. Boat and trailer sold as is on bill of sale. No Hull ID#.
I never sailed it—got it six years ago as an easy, cosmetic project boat but life intervened. Now must sell as I am moving.
