Description

1976 Post 42 Sportfish. Extensively renovated with new wiring, plumbing, air conditioning, galley appliances, water heater, light fixtures, etc. Too much to list. NEW Westerbeke 8KW gen set with less than 50 hours. Detroit 6-71 diesel inboard engines with less than 100 hours SMOH. Upgrades to engines include new Lenco cooling tanks and Airsep air filtration. Engines are turbocharged and develop 400 hp ea (estimated). Engines just serviced including oil, filter, fuel filters and impellers.
Fuel tanks are aluminum and new 2005. Engine room insulated with 2 inch Soundown foam with lead barrier and covered in perforated aluminum sheet. New rudder shelves, rudder bearing blocks, steering cylinder, hydraulic oil lines, helm pump and pressure tank. New throttle and shift cables and Teleflex shifters. New gauges.
Two (2) Simrad NX40 MFD, 1KW Airmar M260 transducer 50/200kHz. Two (2) Icom VHF radios. Clarion stereo head, JL Audio Amplifier, (6) JL Audio coax speakers, (1) JL Audio 10" subwoofer.
One set of spare props.
Lewmar V-3 windlass, 50 feet chain, 300 feet 5/8" 3-strand. Docklines, fenders.
Full Pipewelders tower.
Rocket launcher in cockpit.
Pompanette helm seats (2) with cushions.
Boat hauled in fall of 2014. Bottom sand blasted to remove all old paint. Blisters ground out, hull dried out, filled, faired and 2-part barrier coat applied prior to bottom paint.
Over $150,000 invested but now circumstances require the sale of this much loved, classic Jersey-style sportfishing boat. Priced at only $75,000 for quick sale.
