ReviewThe Rasmus 35 is often dubbed as the first production sailboat to come from Hallberg-Rassy, a name that’s become one of the most respected and prestigious in the world of cruising yachts. With a design from Sweden’s Olle Enderlein that was well ahead of its time in the late 1960s, the boat has enjoyed a large following with an incredible production run of 760 hulls spanning 12 years. With its full keel and center-cockpit layout the boat was designed for long distance cruising from the outset. Her well protected cockpit which featured a fixed windscreen which was a trendsetting innovation in its day.Owners DescriptionThis beautiful yacht is in a good used condition, with two separate cabins forward and aft cabin with complete privacy and A/C. The hull has been awl-griped in 2015, bottom barrier coat 2015, the bright-work finish is 3 years old, complete set of sails with extras, interior in good condition. The cockpit seat tops and cockpit floor redone in non slip King Starboard, (low maintenance and will last forever). Build in davits for your dinghy. swim ladder aft, Existing cockpit spray hood needs replacing( just fabricsince windshield is build in ).A/C system, builtin refrigerator and gas top range, microwave, rail mounted grill, flat screen TV on articulatingarm,( it makesit possibleto watch TVin the cockpit), 2015 stereo with HD radio receiver and cd/dvd combo, VHF radio, hot/cold water pressure system. Volvo 75 hp diesel with 775 hours run great, but high pressure pump failed and needs rebuilding$600 to make it work. As with all used boats there is no guaranteeall systems will work . blown fuses and such are normal, all has worked when she went on-hard in 2015 at Great Oak Marina, Chesapeak, Maryland. She needs a little work but all classics do.
In all this is a great yacht for cruising anywhere in the world, but with its 4.3 draftit is also perfect for the Chesapeake bay.Specifications
