Evinrude Runabout Boat
Description
I have a 1964 Evinrude boat with 1967 100 hp Evinrude outboard motor. The boat has the classic tri-hull fiberglass body and really neat features. The boat belonged to friends of the family for many years and as they got on in years they took the boat out less and less.I purchased the boat with plans to have a cool lake runabout, but I just will not have time to use it with having another boat we use more often.I was not sure what shape the boat was in I bought it, but overall the boat is in decent shape, the floor is all foam filled with fiberglass overlay. The transom is solid and holds the 100 hp motor well. The biggest eye catcher is the very retro looking windshield that is in great shape. The windshield folds over and snaps in place. The seats are white vinyl and quite comfortable. The chrome pieces are nice and no rust at all in the boat. The console is also retro and pretty neat looking, the steering works as it should and is not stiff at all and the navigation lights even come on at the flip of a switch.I put a hot battery in the boat and the motor fired right up. I put the motor in a tank of water and let it run with fresh gas and put it in forward and reverse. It shifts out like it is suppose to. I can also send a video of the boat running for serious bidders. I really wish I had the time to make this boat nice and run it around the lake.I have a low reserve on this boat because I wan to see it go to a good home. It is not perfect and needs a little love and probably gone through before putting it on the water, but it will not take much to put this classic back on the water and have it reliving its glory days. Both the boat and motor have clean titles. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to let me know, And I will get back with you to the best of my knowledge of the boat. I have over more pictures of the interior and exterior and can send pictures of any area of the boat for serious bidders. This watercraft is sold AS-IS no warranty is written or expressed. 200 dollar deposit is due at end of auction with remaining cost due upon pick up of the boat. shipping/transportation of watercraft is the responsibility of the buyer.
