Landing Craft Workboat - Dive boat 28' w/ Trailer
Description
My company purchased this ex government heavy duty fiberglass boat for a project and had the engines and out-drives tuned up and ready for service as it has sat for a bit before bought it, and in the end, we never needed it. So it has now sat for two years. Water was drained from systems for winter time (Portland, Oregon area, so it is not very severe, but to be safe). This is an ex government boat that is built of extremely thick fiberglass. The bow does open up barn door style as opposed to flopping down forwards. It has twin 6 cyl inline engines (I will likely post additional info/specs in the coming day, but wanted to get it listed for now) and it has a spare out-drive that came with it.The trailer is in good shape and is a triple axle unit. The boat is a wide load going down the highway, but I don't know right now how wide (will update ad asap). It does come with the A Frame and an beefy electric winch that has been confirmed as operational. The person that buys this boat should understand that it is a heavy work boat does have older style motors and out drives. Those that like this type of set up, love them. Replacement parts are easily available. When we got it, we replaced a manifold that had a crack and found it was easier to buy a $500 boat with the matching engine and out drive for parts. There were several available on Craigslist when we needed it.The wheelhouse has a front window, but it did not appear to ever have side or back windows, by design. Again, you will want to spend a couple weeks changing out some of the rub-rail, upgrading the somewhat soft floor in the engine room and likely retrofitting the flooring in the front of the boat. It could be designed to hold quite a bit under the deck by building up the area. I don't know the year of the boat, but will look that up asap and update the post once I find the paperwork. Title to boat and trailer are in hand. I can show the vessel during any normal workday 8-5 by appt. Buyer is responsible for pickup from Vancouver, WA. (across the river from Portland, OR). Again, it is heavy and not something you will be pulling with a F150. - ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING.
