The owner is recently married and this boat has to go! No Reserve Auction. AMS Marine Surveyor estimated the market value prior to the refurbishment of the vessel at $168,840.00 (11/2014). The survey on 11/2014 is available upon request. The owner's loss is your gain!
This is a 34.1’ Striker steel hull that was custom built and Coast Guard Certified in 2007. This boat was purchased and refurbished in 2014. In April of 2015 the vessel had a partial submersion incident for approximately 2 hours (massive thunderstorm and improper seal of transom door). The amount spent on improvements, maintenance, and expenses since purchase on 11/2014 is $57,716.09 (plus hundreds of man hours from owners). This vessel has been professionally recovered and refurbished, runs and looks great!
This vessel was home ported in Lake Charles from 2007 through November 2014 (fresh water)
Currently located at Dennis Dryer Municipal Harbor, Port Aransas, Texas
This boat was built for high sea, relatively slow speeds, and fuel efficiency. It cruises at approximately 15 knots in smooth seas (AMS Survey 15.1 knots at 2200rpm on 11/2014) and has a fuel efficiency of approximately 1 mile per gallon.
The High Life has all new zincs and all hull paint in March of 2015. The hull has been checked for structural integrity and welded in applicable areas (March 2016). Hull paint touch-up / polished, new bottom job, bilge paint, and engine paint in March of 2016!
Low time Cummings 4BT Diamond Diesel Engines, all starboard decking (including Cobia tower), live bait well, tuna tubes, massive fish box, 20,000BTU AC (blows in cockpit also) and a recently refurbished Murray Brothers fighting chair are valuable features!
United Sates Coast Guard Auxiliary Safety Check completed in July 2016.

Known Inoperative or Defective Items
Port Side Engine runs approximately 20 degrees warmer than Starboard side and at higher RPM will have water vapor off the exhaust. Not sure what's causing it and our diesel mechanic (Gatewood's Marine) has a 3 month wait. No water or coolant in the oil, we believe it may be barnacles in the heat exchanger.
Port forward isinglass is cracked

Revision to reflect a repair! (08/22/2016)
Port side engine impeller replaced solving the problem of the port side engine running hot. Also, a fuel line on the port side engine was replaced. This repair was made today (08/22/2016) by Gatewood Marine Services. Engines are running smooth.
