2002 Monterey 298 S

Description

I'm selling our 2002 Monterey 298 S because we are wanting to downsize....I purchased it in 2014 from the original owner (475 hrs) It now has about 590 hrs....I purchased it from Atlanta (Lake Lanier) 30K...Had it shipped to Va. 2K...Then purchased a new 2013 Magic tilt tri-axle trailer 8500.00...It had No trailer...We have enjoyed the boat and use it every chance we get.....Which is a lot....The boat has never let us down and is the best boat on gas I have ever had.....Will run almost 60 mph..I cruise about 28-32 rpm which is about 30 to 36 mph.....Has the best power package for that year which is the twin mercruiser 5.7 liter(300hp)each....Brovo 3 outdrives dual-props....The boat is probably the best boat we have every had as far as ride and maintance....I have had the outdrives re-sealed(removed and completely gone though and checked)...Just had all shift cables and throttle cables replaced....Last year I did the sea-water pumps....and oil changes on each motor....I'm a mechanic by trade and do all the repairs that I can and take it to Affordable Marine for the other items....I have all the manuals and a lot of receipts....Manifolds and rizers replaced in 2012 by original owner and Action Marine Maintained the other items for the 1st owner at Lake Lanier....The boat is a Large bowrider......tons of room....Corsa exhaust.....Sounds awesome and runs even better......I have over 43K in the boat but because I'm now 6, I just want something alittle smaller.....Maybe a performance boat.....Baja.....Formula.....Checkmate....Donzi.....Single engine.......But I may be interested in a trade for something different also...Maybe even a larger slip kept boat......Four wins...Crownline....SILVERTON EXPRESS....Boat has Bimini top....cockpit covers(front and rear) a complete enclouser I have never used....I'm asking $28,500 for everything and am listing this for only 1 week......I'm just not going to waste my time as I'm just too busy....So here it is..For 1 week only...Take a look......Boat does have a few gel coat cracks top side.....nothing bad....purchased it that way.......If you are interested and SERIOUS.......Then I can be reached at 757-846-6081.....Please only serious persons call......This is a great deal for a large bowrider like this....NO CALLS AFTER 9PM....I WOULD BE WILLING TO SELL JUST THE BOAT....IF INTERESTED
