1959 Larson Falls Flyer, Estate find, Vintage, Antique
Description
This was a one owner boat until we bought it a couple of months ago. It has been in a shed since 1995 after the original owner passed away. It is 100% original except for the arm rests that could not be found. Has all of the original trim on the outside and all of the original interior. This is the hard to find left hand steering. It has the usual crazing lines in the gel coat of a 57 yr old boat. No large cracks or chips in the fiberglass. Windshield has no cracks, chips,or broken pieces (just needs polished out). The rear lights on the finsare not broken or cracked. Steering wheel has a few cracks. Overall the boat would be an easy restoration. This boat when ordered new was ordered with a 75 HP McCulloch Flying Scott engine. It has a nice shape bronze prop. The Scottfactory bail o matic is still on it. The original owner had the engine rebuilt in 1994 and was used 6 or 7 times before being put away in 1995 and has not been started since. I have not tried starting this engine but it turns over by hand with compression. Im sure if you cleaned the carbs and put a new fuel line and battery in it, it will fire up. This is the electric start model with generator (needs new belt for generator). The trailer is the original one that came with the boat. It is a tilt type trailer. I hauled this home on a flat bed trailer due to the original tires, wheel bearings, and hitch (I have not checked these). So who ever wins this will need a flat bed trailer to haul it off. This boat needs acomplete restoration. This is located about 45miles west of Kansas City. There is no title. I will give a bill of sale. Make sure this is what you are wanting as there are no returns no matter what the excuse. Bidders in the lower 48 states only. NO international bidding.
