I am selling my 1997 Hydra Sports Z-260 16'4" w/ 115HP outboard since I have recently purchased a new boat. This boat is in great shape, has been very reliable, has not had significant repairs or damages, and has been either garage kept or under a cover for most of it's life. It's max rated for a 115HP. The gelcoat is in good condition. The carpet is in great condition. The factory seats are in decent condition, though one is coming loose at the seams and may need to be replaced in the future. I am the third owner. It was purchased with cash and has no liens against it. I also can provide the title for the trailer, along with owner's manual and paperwork from the original owner. With the new prop it runs smoothly at about 47-52MPH, depending on the load you have. It is mechanically sound, fished out of frequently, and has been recently serviced. I will go into details below about the specifics of the boat and what all comes with it:
1 1997 Evinrude 115HP motor with new spark plugs, lower unit oil, water pump, fuel filter, etc. done this year.
1 Minn Kota Maxxum 55lb thrust 12v trolling motor, variable speeds 10,20,30 to 100
1 Interstate Cranking Battery
2 Deep Cycle Marine Batteries for trolling motor, one is relatively new
Livewell System was recently redone, including a new recirculator pump installed with a console switch.
1 NEW Lowrance Hook 5 w/ GPS/Chirp/Downscan, including a "Lake Insight" chip with tons of detailed lake maps.
1 NEW Lowrance Hook 3 w/ Sonar.
2 NEW Lowrance covers to fit the above models.
1 NEW Solas Rubex Stainless Steel 3-blade prop
2 NEW Trailer Tires purchased in June at Wal-Mart
1 USED spare tire, inflated and in good condition on a Hydra Sports rim.
2 NEW Rod tie-downs installed on the front deck.
1 USED oiler system for the boat, this is uninstalled but I will include it if you'd like to install it yourself.
2 USED life jackets
1 USED paddle
1 USED fire extinguisher
1 USED Type IV portable throwing cushion (these are all the things you need to be legal)
1 custom mount for an umbrella on the rear pedestal seat.
2 pedestal seats with screw-in pedestals.
The boat trailer is a single axle trailer with no brakes and it has a 4-pin connector and requires a 2-inch ball.
I will throw in a Master Lock with 2 keys for keeping the trailer safe while you're on the water and throw in 2 blue tarps that you can use if you want a makeshift cover until you purchase a custom cover.
I will also provide you with a full tank of gas (about 16 gallon tank) and mix in the oil for you, and include a Stabill treatment for the fuel.
I fish in this boat about once a week for fun and in local rodeos, if not more. I do not have the number of hours that are on the motor, but the compression is good and everything on the boat runs well.
