1975 Glastron/Carlson CV16 V8. This is a very rare Glastron. The boat is all original with the 302 Ford 155hp V8 and Volvo 280 outdrive. I have titles for both boat and trailer. I have the complete original interior (rough) that includes the complete seats, seat bottoms and seat bases, The panels that go on each side of the motor housing, the kick panel under the dash and the panel that mounts the controls. The interior needs to be redone as age and mice have taken their toll.
The 302 V8 motor is bone stock with a Pertronix electronic ignition and coil. The original points parts and pieces are included with the sale. The original manifolds are in place with the cast in glastron logo's.
The motor was last run in 2016. It turns over freely and will run with fresh gas and the pertronix items finish wired. All old gas was drained from the tank and lines in 2016.
New parts included, but not installed are cap and rotor, bellows for outdrive and a complete rebuild kit for the carburetor.
The Gel coat on the boat is very nice. Their is sun fading on the bow top and 1 chip about the size of a quarter. The hull is in great condition. The floor in the boat will need some attention around the motor cover for sure, the rest feels solid. The windshield has a crack on the passenger side, but I do have a near mint replacement windshield for it for an additional $200. This boat needs a restoration, but is a great starting point for a true classic ride.
The trailer is original to the boat, and has some surface rust. The bearings were cleaned and repacked in 2016. The tires are old, and if you plan on pulling it home, I would STRONGLY SUGGEST REPLACING THEM. A custom fitted cover is also included with the boat.
