Selling a beautiful classic 1986 Formula 272LS. (27'). As you can see from the pics, this is a great example of a well cared for classic speedboat. Boat gets tons of attention and compliments. Boat was re-powered in 2007 with 2 New Mercruiser 5.7, 250 hp engines and Alpha 1, Generation 2 Outdrives. So you have the best of both worlds, classic styling and modern power. She runs great! Around 350 hours since re-power. Cruises easy at 32 mph at 2700 rpm for good fuel economy. My top speed is 50.4 mph! Hull and decks are in great shape. Sunpad and rear bench seat were redone this past winter with original matching vinyl. Driver and passenger seats are upgraded Formula drop-down bolsters and are in very good shape. Some of small trim pieces are starting showing some wear but are still presentable. Interior is in nice shape and even has the original throw pillows! If you wanted the cabin to be perfect, a new headliner would be in order as it has sagged over the years and attempts have been made to re-secure it. All in all, its in decent shape. Cabin has recent new toilet with deck pump-out. There is a sink attached to a portable water tank, plenty of storage, lights, and windows, 4 of which open. It also has an ice box which could be replaced with a refrigerator if desired. This season I did dry-joint manifolds/risers on the port engine, flappers for the thru-hull exhaust, starter, thermostats, bilge pump, water pumps and gear oil in both drives, re-sealed starboard drive, new zincs, 2 SS propellers, new VHF and antenna, New Stereo and speakers, and 2 batteries last year. I spent over $6k in the off season om maintenance and upgrades to make the boat even better than it was. Nice Lowrance Elite 5 GPS/DF. She has been detailed, bottom painted and is in the water. A true turn-key and go boat! I routinely take trips that are 2+ hours away (and 2 hours back) with no issues. I'd drive it anywhere. Also included is a full cockpit cover, bimini top, and full canvas winter cover...all in good shape. I encourage anyone interested to come look at the boat in person.
