All used boats are soldAS IS,with the exception of late model boats that still have a factory warranty. If we sell a late model used boat with a warranty, we will transfer all warranties to the winner of the auction. Our company checks all engines or out~board motor's for compression and run ability. If anything is needed when a boat comes in, we do it. We make sure all boats are in good running order. Some may need a little TLC and some may be in A-1 Pristine condition! If they have power we make sure the power is ready to go! If it needs a tune up, we do it. If it needs a belt, we put it on.Please read carefully about each individual used boat. We cannot be heldaccountable for every light bulb, switch, or pump that may be good or bad on all used boats.Also, please note that any trailers that come with the boats are also sold AS IS. If a trailer needs tires, hubs, lights or anything else you will need to do the necessary repairs to make the trailer road worthy. A great day for boating is when the sun is shining brightly, but the best day to test a boat is when the weather is contrary. By that standard, our day on the water with the Cruisers 3750 was ideal. It was rainy. Dense gray clouds hung heavy overhead. The docks were slippery. In other words, it was the kind of day when most Seattle boaters choose to install new batteries, change the oil or do anything else but fire up the beast for a run. It was a perfect day for me to find out just what Cruisers Yachts’ 3750 was made of. While waiting for things to get under way and snug beneath the Bimini on the flybridge, which has enough seating for eight, I could appreciate the 3750’s stylish control panel, the race-car-style wheel, hydraulic steering, and the ergonomic space Cruisers has provided for the helmsman’s knees. Our test boat was provided courtesy of Seattle’s Apex Marine, and at the helm was the dealership’s very capable Brian Olsen. Taking off from the cut between Lake Washington and Lake Union, we motored under Lake Washington’s famous floating bridge, took a turn past Bill Gates’ sprawling hillside mansion, ran from idle to cruising speeds and throttled back down a couple of times to get a feel for the boat and put it through several turns. Thanks to the weather that day, the 3750 topped out at 24 knots, although the boat’s official top speed is 26 knots at 2,900 rpm. Below us, the roar of the direct-drive Cats was deeply muffled, far from the upper deck. Olsen settled the 3750 into a cruising speed of 21 knots at 2,400 rpm. Despite the typical Seattle weather, the 3750’s ride was smooth and quiet; performance was exemplary. A Solid State Cruisers fabricates its own stainless steel bow rails, ladders, tanks and motor mounts from marine-grade 316 alloy. Fabrics are marine-grade vinyls. Berths and seating are based on long-lasting dense foam. Cruisers also builds its own acrylic Bimini tops with front and side curtains. Canvas seams are coated with Sea Niark to prevent leakage. (Needless to say, we remained dry during our test, shielded from the cold rain.) The story of this hull begins at the extreme outside edges, where a vinylester barrier coat is applied below the waterline to eliminate osmosis. The barrier coat is followed by a 22-mil abrasion-resistant layer of gelcoat, and the result is a high-luster finish. The gelcoat is followed by hand-laid layers of unidirectional knitted glass fibers stiffened by end-grain balsa coring. Special synthetic paints are then applied to the bilge and other high-spill areas to reduce the corrosive effects of solvents, oils and fuels. When the hull, deck and liner are glassed and bolted together, the effect is a solid grid. Even Cruisers’ modular interiors have been CAD designed, cut by a computer-controlled router from marine-grade, solid-core mahogany plywood and then assembled to a precise standard. The molds throughout are impressive. Sensuous compound curves are found everywhere, curves that would drive a lesser builder to distraction. On deck, the solid feel is emphasized by the fact that all cleats, rails, hinges and chocks have been backed up with laminated aluminum deck plates. The anchor roller is molded into a platform. The Cruisers’ Lifestyle The 3750 can be boarded either across a molded-fiberglass swimgrid or via steps that lead directly to the covered aft deck. Four steps take you down into the main saloon, where earth tones in the carpet and vinyl upholstery bring out the rich warmth of the stylish, modern art deco cherry brightwork (optional). The settee lies to port, and an entertainment center is to starboard, with a dinette and an efficient galley down two more steps. Standard features in the saloon include a stereo/cassette with a remote and a 120 watt amp, telephone wiring with jacks and a dockside receptacle, and a television with remote and an antenna. The 3750 offers an optional lower steering station, proof that Cruisers recognizes that planing hull boats are piloted 90 percent of the time from their upper stations. The galley is a little gem. Illuminated by ample overhead light from the windshield, its amenities include a two-burner electric range with a microwave, a refrigerator and a freezer. The counters are fiberglass with Surell inlays. Hot water for the galley, the shower and the master head’s molded-in tub is provided by an 11-gallon electric tank with additional heat provided under way by the engine heat exchanger. The tri-cabin layout provides maximum privacy for two cruising couples. The master stateroom at the stern features a queen-size berth with an en suite head. A guest stateroom, which also has a queen-size berth, has been situated in the bow and has access to the forward head. Both staterooms feature hanging lockers with ample storage and are finished to a high standard.
