1998 Correct Craft Air Nautique W/GT40 Motor
Description
I just bought this boat & trailer from a friend of mine that had it for 10-years and upgraded to a brand new one. I bought this boat from him for his trade-in value of $8k because I know this boat runs and operates like a new boat at a fraction of the price.
Unfortunately, when I brought it home, I could see my wife and kids wanted a brand new boat, not a 1998.....So I am looking for a quick sale. My new boat arrives on 6/1 and I don’t have room for two. My loss is your gain.
The upholstery was replaced about 10-years a go but is faded but is in serviceable condition for many years. This boat is in great condition for a 1998 with about 650 well cared for hours. The 351/5.8L Ford GT40 engine is VERY powerful. Gelcoat is in good condition and was wrapped a few years ago. Overall this boat looks good and operates great.
If I could find an upholstery shop that could replace the interior before Memorial Day, this would be like a brand new boat and I would not be selling it.
The trailer is in good condition but the brake actuator tongue doesn’t work. I tow it with a 6 cylinder SUV with no problem, but it should be fixed. Tires are 2-years old. The trailer tows really nice and you will have no problem running this home at auction end.
This boat can be tested in the water prior to auction close (scheduled in advance). Be advised that I have the boat listed locally and reserve the right to cancel the listing anytime. I will sell this to the highest bidder unless someone shows up with $8,000 cash in hand (which is a huge bargain).
Do not contact me unless you are serious. If I think you are a scam you will be ignored. I have no time for nonsense.
